Design
Mitten engineering has complete system design and development capability. We also recognize the need to be flexible and adaptive to customer needs, so we are able to work to functional specs, build to BOM, or build to print applications.
As a supplier of systems globally, we have the capability to satisfy a number of domestic and international standards, including EU Directives, API, ASME, AWS, IEC, NEC, AS3000 and many Canadian codes and standards such as the CSA B51, CEC, TSSA, and ABSA. Our portfolio of capabilities keeps growing in this regard, and we regularly meet the challenges of compliance from project to project.
Our drawing platform, Autocad Inventor, is fully compatible with a number of other CAD systems, and native or step files are easily transmitted between you and Mitten via our FTP site.
Mitten also develops functional test plans and comprehensive operation and maintenance manuals customized to your needs, to ensure your system is fully operational and plant personnel have the required information at their fingertips during start-up, commissioning, and ongoing operations.
System Packaging
Over our history, Mitten has manufactured over 2,000 fluid system packages of various sizes and capacities. We are a full service, non-union operation with structural steel fabrication, pipe welding, system assembly, instrumentation, electrical wiring, non-destructive testing, painting and crating capabilities. Our accredited welders regularly work to AWS, ASME B31.1 and B31.3, API, EN and PED standards, and our production team is cross-trained so we can quickly adapt to changing customer needs.
